HEERF CARES Grant Student Portion Report
Yeshiva Aleksander has signed the certification agreement for the cares grant student part.
Yeshiva Aleksander received a total of $153,138 from the Department pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
Yeshiva Aleksander has added $37,862.00 from the 18004(a)(1) institutional part as payments to students.
Yeshiva Aleksander has disbursed the entire $191,000.00 to 89 students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.
The estimated total number of students at the institution eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act is 118 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act as of is about 89
Yeshiva Aleksander has disbursed for each student enrolled in the Spring 2020 semester, and has been documented to be eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, the amount of $1,000 for each dependent student living with parents. $2,500 for each dependent students living not with parents. and $3,000 for each Independent student.
Students received the following instructions with their grants: “As per the CARES Act, these grants are to be used for expenses that are related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19, including things like course materials and technology as well as food, housing, health care, and childcare.”
